DELANO, CA - The California Table Grape season is so close, I can nearly taste it. This means that there are many consumers out there that feel the same way. With June gaining ground, Sales Manager Laura Berryessa joined me to talk about the exciting season and a little taste of what is to come.

“We are gearing up for the California Table Grape season to kick off in Coachella this month with a great harvest ahead, good crop, and increased supplies. As always, our team at Castle Rock works diligently to address the industry challenges of today and find a balance with our customers in the conversation around operating and growing costs, labor, and transportation,” Laura shares with me.

When it comes to building a high-value program with a premium supplier like Castle Rock, planning for the successful execution of the 2022 season is a conversation that retailers should be having on a regular basis with their supplier partners. Staying ahead of the high demand allows buy-side customers to utilize the full resources and program of Castle Rock Vineyards and lay a groundwork strategy so retailers can respond to the high demand that accompanies such a category.

“We are in a resilient industry that is constantly adapting to change and, as we continue to evolve and respond to the needs of today, we are investing in redevelopment and trying new varieties to ensure we offer the best grapes available.
