Organic Produce Summit 2023 Opens Event Registration with New Events; Susan Canales
MONTEREY, CA - Drumroll, please! I am happy to announce that general and retailer registration is now open for the Organic Produce Summit 2023 (OPS). Additionally, planning is underway for educational sessions and keynote presentations for the event that will be held July 12–13 in Monterey, California.
“Based on the feedback from our sponsors and exhibitors, OPS 2023 is shaping up as our biggest and best yet. We’ve increased the number of booths in our exhibitor halls to accommodate some of those companies that have been on our waiting list, and we are running significantly ahead of last year with our retailer registration,” said Susan Canales, President of Organic Produce Summit. “And we're keeping things fresh with new and different activities.”
OPS 2023 already promises a sold-out trade show floor with 170 organic fresh produce suppliers, a release stated. The event will also feature a series of insightful and engaging educational sessions and keynotes focused on pertinent issues facing the industry. To top it off, there will be a host of networking activities, including an opening night gala.
Some of the new events at OPS 2023 will include:
- The first-ever retailer field tour to an organic Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) facility showcasing revolutionary growing and packaging
- A special cocktail event prior to the opening reception—for those new to the industry or attending their first-ever OPS
- A two-hour educational session focused on the “power of plants” and how the industry can gain messaging ideas to help market and sell more fresh produce
In the coming weeks, the complete OPS 2023 schedule will be released.
“The landscape of the entire produce industry continues to change before our eyes. And topics like sustainability, ag tech, plant-based, and CEA are front and center for our attendees,” Canales added. “We pride ourselves on delivering a first-rate educational program where attendees can take home what they’ve learned and further the sales of organic fresh produce.”
