LOS ANGELES, CA - Consumers and experts have weighed in, and POM Wonderful has been named the winner of not just one, but two Good Housekeeping 2023 Best Snack Awards.

The company’s POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice took home an award in the “Brilliant Beverages” category, according to a release, while its POM Arils were chosen as a winner in the “Powerhouse Produce” category.

To decide the winners for the Best Snack Awards, Good Housekeeping’s in-house Registered Dietitian and a team of food and nutrition experts in its Good Housekeeping Institute’s Nutrition Lab rigorously examined ingredient lists, nutrition fact labels, packaging claims, and the flavor profiles of thousands of snacks. Consumers also got the chance to weigh in on taste and provide their analysis.

Overall, the decisions focus on innovative snacks in the food space that meet the publication’s nutritional criteria, including standards on per-serving calories, sugar, and sodium.

POM Arils were selected due to their juicy flavor, satisfying crunch, and the fact that they are packed with nutrients and fiber. POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice was chosen because of its versatility and the fact that it contains no fillers, has plenty of antioxidants, and packs as much potassium as a banana.
