ShopRite Expands With Newest Store in Sussex, New Jersey; Dominick J. Romano Comments
SUSSEX, NJ - A celebration of a new store is always an exciting event, and grocery shoppers lined up to take part in ShopRite’s most recent grand opening. The retail chain opened its Sussex, New Jersey, doors on October 25 as part of its expansion plan.
The state-of-the-art, full-service supermarket is owned by RoNetco Supermarkets, a family-owned company with nearly a century in the grocery business and eight ShopRite stores in northwestern New Jersey. As explained in its press release, the new ShopRite store will provide shoppers with a one-stop shopping experience, offering a wide selection of groceries, locally sourced foods, fresh-prepared and restaurant-style meals, and more.
“RoNetco Supermarkets has a long history of commitment to the communities where our ShopRite stores operate, and we look forward to officially becoming a part of the great Sussex community,” said Dominick J. Romano, Co-President and Chief Operations Officer of RoNetco Supermarkets.
Features of the alluring new location include fresh-to-table prepared foods and deli departments, in addition to a full-service meat department and walk-in seafood market.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony took place with RoNetco Supermarkets Co-President and COO Dominick J. Romano and Co-President and Chief Financial Officer David Romano.
