Texas Retailer Achieves Guinness World Record With Massive Avocado Display
DALLAS, TX - Avocados broke a world record earlier this month. How, you might ask? Dallas, Texas-based El Rio Grande Latin Market built an avocado display so large that it set a new Guinness World Record.
According to USA Today, the display at El Rio Grande Latin Market is made up of 301,000 avocados and weighs nearly 87,000 pounds. I have seen some big avocado displays before, but this one definitely takes the cake!

The news source included a time-lapse video showing how the grocer’s produce team assembled the massive display, resulting in what looks like a pile of avocados taking up the majority of the produce department.
Displays this large are not something you see every day, but I imagine they would certainly draw a lot of foot traffic. Stick around with ANUK in case we spot another one.
