US Foods Awards To-Jo Vet Paul Frederic As Its Frank Swanson Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient
AVONDALE, PA - As a foodservice provider in today’s fresh produce craving landscape, finding the perfect industry partner is certainly something worth celebrating. With its latest Frank Swanson Lifetime Achievement Award, US Foods is honoring one such partner—former To-Jo Mushrooms Sales exec Paul Frederic.
“Paul’s knowledge, professionalism, attitude, and effort put forth every day during his career did not go unnoticed to US Foods or the industry at large,” said Christian Harris, Vice President Fresh Produce for US Foods, upon the announcement of Frederic as recipient.
According to a press release, the newly created Frank Swanson Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals for excellence in service to US Foods and the produce industry over the duration of their career.
This year’s award was presented to Frederic at the annual US Foods vendor meeting, held following the United Fresh Mkt Expo in Chicago on June 16. Frederic, having worked on and off with To-Jo for many years, retired from To-Jo most recently in July 2016.
“It was a pleasure working with Paul and witnessing his dedication to his work, customers, and the industry throughout his career. It is no surprise that he was one of the first people to be recognized with this award,” commented Kevin Delaney, To-Jo’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Congratulations to To-Jo veteran Paul Frederic for both this honor and his illustrious career in the produce industry.
