Former President and Chairman of Bolthouse Farms Andre Michael Radandt Passes Away
LAKE FOREST, IL - Today, we reflect on the legacy of a cherished and respected industry leader, as we announce with heavy hearts that Andre Michael Radandt passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 60.
Radandt was born in 1962 in Lake Forest, Illinois, to immigrant parents from Germany. Before becoming President and Chairman of Bolthouse Farms, where he introduced the Bolthouse juices and salad dressings, he graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois and embarked on a visionary business career that was rewarded with remarkable success.
As noted in his obituary, Radandt and Lisa Bolthouse Radandt were blessed with four children, Ellen Stremler, Alex Radandt, Lydia Caruso, and Ryan Radandt. Andre also relished the experience of becoming a grandfather to his two grandsons, Oliver and Matthew, with great anticipation for two more grandchildren to be born this coming June.
Throughout his vibrant life, family meant the world to Radandt, who was a wonderful brother to his two sisters, Dorit Dacre and Christine Marklin. He enjoyed visiting his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who live in Germany, and also funded a naming gift in honor of his parents, Friedhelm and Elizabeth Radandt, at a midwestern college.
Andre's passionate interest in sports, especially football and hockey, spread the gift of fun to many, and he loved taking his children and friends to major league games.
A funeral service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 13, at Rio Vista Community Church in Fort Lauderdale.
Our hearts are with all of those who were blessed with the opportunity to know Andre Michael Radandt.
