GREENSBORO, NC - Consumers in North Carolina are about to be treated to a new and enhanced shopping experience from specialty grocer The Fresh Market. The retail announced that three locations will be on unveiled this Wednesday with expanded offerings and new features.

We are pleased to invite our Asheville and Hendersonville neighbors on a culinary journey filled with an exceptional, hand-picked selection of the freshest foods in an environment that welcomes inspiration and will delight the senses.” 

Communities in the Asheville and Hendersonville areas will now have access to the retailers long-standing commitment to offering premium varieties of farm-fresh produce, and ready-to-eat food options. According to a press release, this will include: 

Delicious Meal Solutions

The retailer’s signature Little Big Meal program offers busy families a deliciously different dinner each week, to appeal to on-the-go-shoppers. Consumers can now experience an interactive sampling station, and prepackaged “Meals in Minutes” with fresh produce and seafood ingredients, and Bistro Comfort Bowls. This offering is aimed to provide shoppers an innovative range of options for any occasion while primed to help guests discover new flavors. 

Curated Specialty Items

Partnering with local farmers, merchants, and culinary entrepreneurs, The Fresh Market is offering inspiration to shoppers in every department. These stores now feature an expanded grocery selection that includes daily essentials alongside specialty items. 

Health and Wellness

A knowledgeable, in-store specialist will be onsite at these locations to help answer shoppers’ questions, and offer recommendations to help them reach wellness goals through protein and meal replacements, alongside other health options. Aisles throughout the store will be specifically labeled to help guide those with dietary restrictions or food allergies to health-conscious products that include over 1,100 organic items, 1,500 certified gluten-free items, and 1,200 certified non-GMO items.

The festivities will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. The stores will offer cooking demonstrations, in-store sampling, live entertainment, and special deals and givewaways throughout the weekend.

The Fresh Market stated that alongside these revamps, it’s committed to enriching the lives of people within these communities by relieving hunger insecurity. Each store has partnered with local organizations such as Caring for Children to provide regular food donations.
