IRWINDALE, CA - Ready Pac Foods is still in high-growth mode since entering into a relationship with parent company Bonduelle—this time focusing on improving the supply chain. The company announced that Scott McGuire, the former Vice President of Sales and Operations Planning for Ready Pac, will now assume the role of Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO).

According to a press release, Scott’s functions, which cover all operations from the fields to the plant and from the plant to the customer shelves, will be integral in the continued rapid growth the company has been experiencing.

Since joining Ready Pac in 2015 as Vice President of Sales and Operations Planning, Scott has been responsible for such tasks as building the company’s sales and operations planning process, long-term business development strategy, demand forecasting, inventory & expenses management, customer service, and transportation & logistics capabilities.

With nearly 30 years of Logistics and Supply Chain management experience, Scott has worked in a variety of roles before joining the Ready Pac team. As a former consultant with his own practice, named Joseph Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions, he provided consulting services for various Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) clients, including Nestlé USA. Before consulting, he worked at Nestlé USA himself as National Director of Transportation and Logistics for the company’s Direct-Store Delivery (DSD) division. Scott has also served as Service and Distribution Director for Pepsico’s Frito-Lay Division.
