Whole Foods Market Opens Northeast Headquarters in New Jersey
NEW JERSEY - Whole Foods Market has chosen New Jersey as its new Northeast home. This week, Mack-Cali Realty Corporation announced that the specialty grocer signed a lease for its new 47,398-square-foot Northeast headquarters.
“We have started 2019 on solid footing, securing Whole Foods Market in both our retail and office space at our signature Harborside center as part of our Waterfront Strategy,” said Michael J. DeMarco, Chief Executive Officer of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation, in a press release.
While Whole Foods has not released an initial statement regarding its new headquarters location, the grocer had released a pretty extensive expansion plan at the beginning of this year. And, in the past five months, Whole Foods has held as true as it could to its plan, with exciting store openings of all sorts and kinds.
In addition to its headquarters, Whole Foods will also open a new 47,542-square-foot store in downtown Jersey City. Meaning, the ANUK staff will probably get to enjoy paparazzi pics of our favorite Jersey Shore characters perusing the specialty grocer’s aisles—maybe…don’t quote me on this!
As we await more details on both the headquarters and the new store opening, AndNowUKnow will continue to keep you covered on other pressing news.
