Instacart Appoints Operations and Product Leader Asha Sharma as Chief Operating Officer
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - More Instacart news has come rolling in as the company continues to make changes to its leadership team, recently announcing that it has appointed Asha Sharma as Chief Operating Officer.

As she steps into her new role in mid-February, Sharma will oversee the Instacart Marketplace, including Instacart Logistics, Growth and Marketing, and the Instacart App, according to a press release, with a heavy focus on engaging both new and existing customers.
Before joining Instacart, Sharma served as Vice President of Product for the company’s private communications across Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram. Prior to that, she served as the Vice President of Product for Messenger, as well as the Head of Product for Social Impact. Before taking her talents to Facebook, Sharma also oversaw operations, product, marketing efforts, and growth in her role as Chief Operating Officer of Porch, and gained experience in marketing and operations through her time with Microsoft.
