The Allen Lund Company Appoints Zach Anderson as Manager of Boise Office
LA CAÑADA FRUITRIDGE, CA - When I think of innovation and a dedication to always doing the best work for customers, The Allen Lund Company (ALC) is one of the first that comes to mind. Growing its team of dedicated leaders, the company has recently announced the promotion of Zach Anderson who will now serve as Manager of the ALC Boise Office, which was acquired by the transportation maven in February of 2021.
“First and foremost, to Dawn and the entire St. Louis team: I can't thank you all enough for all that I've learned and experienced in my six-plus years. It's led me to where I'm at now and will help immensely in my new role,” said Anderson. “I'm honored to be given the opportunity to lead such a great group in Boise. When I first visited the office for two weeks back in February during the transition, I was able to see first-hand the amazing team. Their hardworking, customer-driven mindset had me very impressed. Everyone was so welcoming when I was out there and made me feel right at home.”
Anderson has been a part of the ALC team since 2014 when he joined the company as a transportation broker in training at the company’s St. Louis office, according to a press release.
Within a few months, he was promoted to transportation broker, then took on the role of Business Development Specialist in 2016, followed by Assistant Manager in 2018.
“This is an exciting time for Allen Lund Company. The addition of the Boise office to the company is one thing to cheer about, and now with the promotion of Zach Anderson to the manager of the newly acquired Boise office, we are extra excited!” said Tracey Lewin, VP of Sales and Operations. “Zach comes to the Boise team with very solid experience in operations, sales, account management, and leadership, all developed and polished during his tenure in our St. Louis office. I’m especially proud of Zach for taking on this role in our company, and I look forward to working closely with him and watching the office continue to grow and prosper under his leadership. Thank you to Wes Blaser and the rest of the Boise team for helping lead through this transition, and thank you to Dawn Davenport and the St. Louis team for supporting Zach’s promotion. Congratulations, Zach!”
Along with the extensive expertise Anderson has gained in his tenure with ALC, he also holds a bachelor’s degree in Management with a minor in Supply Chain Management from Western Illinois University.
Cheers to Zach Anderson as he steps into this new position!
