ASHEVILLE, NC - As one door closes, another one opens. That is the case at Ingles Markets, where the retirement of Ronald B. Freeman, Chief Executive Officer, has led to the promotion of Patricia (Pat) E. Jackson to the role of Chief Financial Officer, effective February 23, 2022.

Jackson has served as Controller at Ingles since joining the team in 2010, according to a release. Prior to coming on board, she was the CFO of Sisters of Mercy Services Corporation. She is a licensed CPA and holds a master’s degree in Accounting.

She has taken over the position of CFO from Freeman, who has retired after serving the retailer and its communities for almost 17 years.

“We are proud to promote Pat Jackson as our new CFO. We look forward to her effective leadership and sound judgment helping us maintain our strong financial posture,” said Robert P. Ingle II, Chairman of the Board.
