SANTA MARIA, CA - As we celebrated Memorial Day, I’m assuming many of us had fresh berries at hand. With more summertime promotional opportunities just around the corner, Bobalu offered an inside peek of what it’s expecting its peak strawberry season to look like.

“As expected at this time of year, the morning and evening fog has returned, which keeps our plants healthy with a nice slow increase in volume expected over the next couple of weeks,” the company explained in its weekly crop update. “The 10-day weather forecast shows us hovering in the mid to high 60s with some fog, breezy conditions, and nighttime temps in the high 40s to low 50s.”

Bobalu is expecting a slow increase in strawberry volume over the next couple of weeks, arming buyers with good volumes ahead of graduation and Father's Day berry promotions

Bobalu explained that Memorial Day promotions may be behind us, but graduation season is just beginning—and we can’t forget Father’s Day. All of these occasions are ripe for berry promos.

The supplier assured buyers that it will have plenty of fruit ahead to keep those displays stocked and ready to take center stage.
