GREAT NECK, NY - It doesn’t get much sweeter than the strategic refresh of a beloved brand. William H. Kopke Jr. is one company ensuring it stays fresh and relevant within the marketplace, recently revealing the revamp of its SWEETUMS® family of branded produce.

Kopke Jr.“We have been selling under the SWEETUMS brand for many years, and have received a great deal of positive feedback from the end consumer,” shared William Kopke, Managing Director. “We set out to refresh each SWEETUMS product to promote Kopke’s commitment to providing the consumer with a consistent brand experience across all categories. The consumer will trust and expect something special from the SWEETUMS family.”

The refreshed brands, which continue to present each produce item as an illustrated personification of smiling faces, has continued to stand out for over a decade across the produce department, according to a press release.

William H. Kopke Jr. has pulled back the curtain on a recent revamp of its SWEETUMS® family of branded produce

“The timing of this brand refresh couldn’t be better as it coincides with our investment and expansion of the Kopke Distribution Center (KDC Group),” said Kopke. “We are currently adding 10,000 square feet to our repack room, which will give us a total [of] 35,000 square feet of repack capacity, increasing the total footprint to 178,000 square feet.”

The refreshed SWEETUMS family of brands will debut this summer in grocery stores across North America. The label will cover citrus from Chile, South Africa, Argentina, Peru, and Uruguay in the summer followed by citrus from Morocco during the winter months.
