Produce Pro Software Acquired by Aptean; Dave Donat and Bob Kocis Comment
ALPHARETTA, GA - Global software provider Aptean is building out its food and beverage portfolio, and Produce Pro Software is the latest company to join the effort. The fresh produce-focused software company, whose products are used by hundreds of food distributors, brokers, processors, and growers, has been acquired by Aptean.

With the acquisition, Aptean gains additional functionality to serve the food distribution segment of the industry. Produce Pro Software will also benefit from Aptean’s global scale, resources, and technological expertise, a press release noted.
Produce Pro Software’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution is designed to meet the unique, end-to-end operational challenges of fresh food producers and distributors. The platform helps meet the risk of food loss and other complexities by supporting traceability, increasing visibility, and improving efficiencies across the supply chain.
