Allen Lund Company Promotes Dawn Wendling to Operations Manager of ALC Louisville; Lenny Sciarappa and Matthew Nystedt Comment
LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - As the leaves begin to change in the Northern Hemisphere, we at ANUK have seen several shifts take place across different teams within the produce industry. Seasoned experts are entering new roles, and Allen Lund Company (ALC) is one of the latest to announce such a move. Most recently, the company promoted Dawn Wendling to Operations Manager of ALC Louisville.
“It has been a wild ride, to say the least. But in all sincerity, I could not have picked a better landing place,” Wendling commented. “I truly feel blessed to work for Allen Lund Company. It has been enjoyable and quite the learning experience. The company and staff sincerely care about their employees and their growth, not just professionally but also personally. Wendling began her career with ALC in August 2013 as a Transportation Broker’s Assistant. According to a press release, she became a Transportation Broker in Training after six months and, after one year, became a Transportation Broker. By her third year, Wendling became the Senior Transportation Broker before stepping up as Operations Supervisor in 2021.
Regarding this exciting promotion, Vice President Lenny Sciarappa released a comment.
“Dawn has played a vital role in our Louisville office's growth and recent success. She has performed exceptionally with any responsibility given to her in the past, and I have great confidence that will be the case in her new role as Operations Manager,” Sciarappa relayed.
Matthew Nystedt, ALC Louisville Manager, also commented on the promotion.
“Dawn has been with the Louisville office for nine years. Dawn started as a Broker’s Assistant and has never looked back. Her sound judgment along with her cool demeanor helped her manage some of our larger accounts,” Nystedt noted. “We are excited to have her grow with the management team as the Operations Manager.”
