POMPANO BEACH, FL - One fresh produce vet is blazing a trail at Southern Specialties, stepping into a newly created role that will influence the supplier’s operations long into the future. Alan Lieberman has been named Senior Vice President, a role in which he will oversee internal operations and further develop the company’s growth and business strategies.

Lieberman has over 30 years of industry experience, including executive roles in the foodservice, wholesale, and export sectors, according to a press release. Most recently, he has served as a consultant within the industry.

Southern Specialties—a grower, importer, processor, and shipper of a variety of specialty products—begins a new chapter in its company history as it brings Lieberman on board in such a crucial leadership role.
