Lipman Family Farms Names Elyse Lipman as Chief Executive Officer; Kent Shoemaker Comments
IMMOKALEE, FL - Carrying on the legacy of her family, Elyse Lipman has been named Lipman Family Farms’ new Chief Executive Officer. A fourth-generation family member, she will take over the role from Kent Shoemaker, who served 13 years at the helm.

Lipman has been with the company for more than three years, previously serving as Chief Strategy Officer and Director of Strategy. According to a release, in those roles, she crafted and enriched the supplier's overall strategy focusing on its core values and objectives while driving growth. She will be the first woman on Lipman’s executive leadership team, bringing a fresh perspective and diversity.
Before joining Lipman, she held senior managing roles at the World Economic Forum, in which she shaped agendas and strategies and brokered partnerships with leading companies, governments, and civic stakeholders globally.
Lipman holds an MBA in Innovation Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Arts in Journalism from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Shoemaker gave his congratulations to Lipman and shared his optimism for the future.
