In celebration of these recent successes, SpartanNash Chief Executive Officer Tony Sarsam recently rang the Nasdaq Opening Bell.

At the ringing of the bell, Sarsam was joined by members of the SpartanNash executive team and other senior leaders from across the company. According to a press release, the ringing of the opening bell took place in New York City and was broadcast live on CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, and other national news networks, and headshots of SpartanNash Associates across all levels of the organization were displayed on the seven-story Nasdaq Tower in Times Square.

The ceremony followed SpartanNash's first-ever Investor Day, which took place on November 2. During the event, Sarsam joined Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Jason Monaco and other members of the grocer's executive ring to highlight key details of its Our Winning Recipe blueprint and its long-term financial targets.
