NEW ROCHELLE, NY - In a strategic move to bolster its own success as well as the success of its customers, LGS Specialty Sales has announced the opening of its newest 235,000-square-foot warehouse in New Jersey. With this expansion, the importer will be on track for further growth, while helping retailers meet the demands of their shoppers.

“With everything under one roof, we are able to offer our customers faster loading and unloading times with the same first-in-class customer service we have always upheld at LGS,” said Luke Sears, President and Founder of LGS Specialty Sales. “We look forward to opening our doors in 2023 to better serve existing and new customers!”

As stated in a release, the warehouse will open in spring 2023 and will aid LGS in furthering its mission of vertical integration. With this new facility, the company will be able to automate workflows to control cost increases, create more consistent packs, ensure the highest quality, and maintain inventory control.

Featuring state-of-the-art automation, the warehouse is located less than 20 miles from all major Delaware River ports, and less than a mile from I-295, enabling faster, fresher fruit delivery. The facility is also equipped with 26-door docks, 10 cooler rooms, 11 bagging lines with 22 baggers, three 30-pallet avocado ripening rooms, and 60,000 square feet of packing area.
