Bowery Farming Salad Kits Now Available at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Matt Williams Details
NEW YORK, NY - ‘Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jacks and a zesty bowl of salad’ may not be lyrically catchy, but it’s going to instantly be the new all-time favorite order at the Citizens Bank Park. Bowery Farming is ensuring this healthy go-to is made available for the ballpark in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as it announced a new partnership to bring its ready-to-eat salad kits to Phillies fans.
“We know that Philadelphia is a city with abundant local pride, and we’re excited to bring our delicious salad kits to Citizens Bank Park,” said Matt Williams, Head of Sales. “Crispy Leaf, grown in our smart indoor farm, is bringing a new level of freshness to concessions at the ballpark. Bowery is on a mission to support healthy food choices in all aspects of our customers’ lives.”
According to the release, this collaboration will bring Bowery’s pesticide-free, grab-and-go Zesty Caesar kit to the stadium for the entirety of the baseball season, which began on April 6, 2023. Citizens Bank Park has chosen to partner with Bowery as the sports venue further expands its options for healthy, fresh, and local fare.
With a base of Bowery Crispy Leaf plus roasted chickpeas, Parmesan crisps, and a citrusy Caesar dressing, the kit is drawing in hungry fans—both of fresh flavor and ball games—at Citizens Bank Park. The sports stadium is the first in the country to offer Bowery’s convenient, grab-and-go salad kits, receiving accolades from PETA for its dedication to providing delicious vegetarian food options.
This collaboration coincides with a pivotal time in Bowery’s growth, as the provider is set to open two new smart farms in Locust Grove, Georgia, and Arlington, Texas.
So, with a hot dog, a large pretzel, and a delicious salad (maybe in a baseball helmet? Who knows) on my tray, I would enjoy every bit of that ball game.
