Family Tree Farms' Leighton Dill Discusses Late-Season Yellow Peaches

REEDLEY, CA - Late season August–September yellow peaches are on the brain for Family Tree Farms. With this coveted crop still making its way to store shelves, I got in touch with Leighton Dill, Marketing Manager.

“Family Tree Farms will maintain a supply of late-season yellow peaches through the end of October, contingent upon weather conditions and harvest yields,” Leighton began telling me. “This season, we are experiencing a bountiful harvest of yellow peaches. Despite overall market pressures affecting yellow peaches, we continue to offer strong volume and quality, ensuring a consistent supply.”

As Leighton explained, retailers can boost sales by cross-merchandising yellow peaches with ingredients for pies, cobblers, or grilling. Promote these juicy, nutritious peaches for enjoying fresh, baking into desserts, or grilling for a sweet twist. Eye-catching signage, samples, and summer-to-fall recipes can attract customers and highlight the peaches’ quality and versatility.

“We're ramping up our presence in stores near you, aiming to engage more with consumers through fruit sampling events. Keep an eye out for us as we bring the delicious taste of our stonefruits directly to you,” Leighton concluded.

Be sure to link up with the Family Tree Farms team to keep yellow peaches on your shelves until they run out.
