"This year's IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show is particularly exciting for us. We're bringing our love for produce and football to the heart of Atlanta with a tailgate celebration that ties into our brand as the Official Sweet Onion of Tailgating," said John Shuman, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Building on this excitement, Shuman Farms is leveraging its strategic partnerships to reach a broader audience.

"We're especially excited to showcase our partnerships with UGA and GSU. These collaborations help us drive the message of healthy eating and increased produce consumption among college students and sports fans alike. Our alignment with these iconic Georgia schools is helping us build brand recognition and trust while encouraging healthier choices among young consumers," added Shuman

The company will host a one-of-a-kind tailgate experience at booth BC523 in the Georgia Grown Pavilion, bringing together its passion for produce and football in its home state. Shuman noted in a press release that this year's event is particularly special for the team as being in Atlanta allows it to highlight ties to the region.

With an exciting showcase at the Global Produce & Floral Show, Shuman Farms will be highlighting its innovative approach to marketing and community engagement

"This year, we continued Vidalia distribution through the end of September and seamlessly transitioned into our Peruvian sweet onions. Our sweet onions, imported via the Port of Savannah, play a vital role in Georgia's economy and allow us to deliver high-quality product to consumers year-round. We're proud of the positive impact we're having on the region through job creation and economic support," Shuman explained.

In addition to its strategic partnerships and economic contributions, Shuman Farms is revolutionizing consumer engagement through innovative marketing strategies. The company is implementing an "edutainment" approach, seamlessly blending education with entertainment to captivate and inform consumers about sweet onions.

"We're blending education and entertainment to make learning about sweet onions both fun and informative. Whether through digital content, recipe inspiration, or in-store promotions, we're elevating the shopper experience and promoting healthier eating habits," Shuman stated.

This multifaceted approach underscores Shuman Farms' commitment to not only providing high-quality produce but also fostering a deeper connection with consumers and the community.

"We're thrilled to represent our home state so close to home, and we invite everyone to stop by our booth, enjoy the tailgate, and learn more about how Shuman Farms is driving produce industry growth," concluded Shuman.

The Shuman Farms team will be at booth BC523 to connect with retail partners, share insights on sweet onion category growth, and celebrate some Georgia pride!
