BJ’s Wholesale Club Opens New Store in Canton, Michigan; David Weber Discusses
MARLBOROUGH, MA & CANTON, MI - There are plenty of reasons to celebrate Friday, and BJ’s gave the Michigan city of Canton another one last week. The retailer opened its newest club location on Friday, September 9, bringing its store count in the state up to five.
“We are thrilled to expand our footprint in Michigan and bring more savings and expansive offerings to our smart-saving Canton community,” said David Weber, Club Manager of the Canton BJ’s. “Our team has been working diligently to get this club prepared for our grand opening, and we couldn’t be more excited to open our doors.”
Shopping options like curbside pickup, in-club pickup, same-day delivery, and in-club shopping are all available to customers, as well as online shopping at BJs.com and using BJ’s mobile app. The new location will feature a vast selection of fresh foods, produce, and various exclusive offerings. According to a press release, the club will also deliver a treasure-hunt experience with an assortment of seasonal items, a selection of local products, and much more.
BJ’s Charitable Foundation is also active in the Michigan community. To date, the retailer has donated to the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit in support of youth programs and Forgotten Harvest food bank, which is part of BJ’s Feeding Communities program. Overall, BJ’s has donated more than 120 million pounds of food to Feeding America member food banks.
