WENATCHEE, WA - Living up to its name, Envy™ apple's latest data from CMI orchards shows the variety turning heads as we welcome the summer season in the U.S.

Rochelle Bohm, Vice President of Marketing, CMI Orchards“Envy’s fan base continues to soar. Since arriving to market, this luxury apple continues to break sales records time and time again,” Rochelle Bohm, Vice President of Marketing at CMI Orchards, said of the New Zealand-born variety. “Its delicate, sweet flavor and crisp, slow-to-brown flesh leaves customer demand high, while the longevity of its stored life and social media presence feeds a growing fan base.”

Bohm further explained in a release how a powerful global marketing presence for Envy apples delivers unparalleled brand awareness, helping retailers significantly boost sales in addition to answering demand.

CMI explained that Envy’s popularity has been skyrocketing over the last 52-week period, boasting a 19 percent increase in sales and a 28 percent increase in volume across the United States

“Envy delivers year-round opportunities for retailers to build category sales with ease,” Bohm continued. “A high-performing apple paired with gorgeous branding and availability in both conventional and organic options make Envy the ultimate star of the summer.”

Danelle Huber, Senior Marketing Manager, cited NielsenIQ in stating Envy makes up nearly a quarter of branded, high-flavor apple sales volume, stating the apple’s high rankings with consumers is just one small indicator of its consistent and steadfast popularity.
