ISSAQUAH, WA - Impressive sales gains headline a successful financial period for Costco. The retailer recently reported its results for the retail month of January. For the 22 weeks ended February 4, 2024, Costco reported net sales of $104.94 billion, an increase of 6 percent from $99 billion for the same period in 2023.

For the five weeks ended February 4, 2024, Costco reported net sales of $22.08 billion, an increase of 4.5 percent from $21.13 billion last year. While specific details of this sales growth were not shared, we suspect Costco’s investments in new store openings played a role in its success compared to last year.

According to the report, Costco currently operates 874 warehouses, including 602 in the United States and Puerto Rico. Costco also operates e-commerce sites in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and Australia.
