Food Lion Expands To Go Services to 27 Additional Stores; Evan Harding Comments
SALISBURY, NC - The Halloween décor has been put back in storage, and the Christmas decorations are on display, which can only mean one thing: November has arrived. With the holiday season upon us, consumers are starting to hit the grocery aisles in full force in preparation for gatherings, and convenience breeds loyalty this time of year, which is why Food Lion has expanded its Food Lion To Go grocery pick-up service to 27 more stores in Maryland, North Carolina, and Virginia.
“With some of the busiest months ahead for our customers, we are excited to expand this convenient service to more stores in the Food Lion footprint so our customers can spend more time on what matters most to them,” said Evan Harding, Director of Digital and E-Commerce, Food Lion. “With the Food Lion To Go service, we provide our neighbors the option to shop through the channel they prefer, in-store or online, still ensuring they have access to the freshest groceries at affordable prices.”
With these latest stores added to the list, Food Lion To Go is now available at 630 locations across the retailer’s 10-state footprint, a release stated.
With the click of a button, consumers in these areas can place an order, confirm product availability, and pick up their groceries on the same day without ever having to leave their car.
