SALISBURY, NC - Today is the day. It was recently announced that as of December 11, Food Lion would be bringing its popular To Go service to 35 more stores in Delaware, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. This brings its Food Lion To Go Pickup or Home Delivery to approximately 90 percent of the retailer’s 10-state operating area.

A press release added that the launch of this service comes just in time to make holiday shopping even easier. And to sweeten the deal, Food Lion is offering customers their first pickup for free.

Shoppers can confirm availability through the Food Lion To Go website or the Food Lion To Go app, place an order, and pick up their groceries on the same day while experiencing the same low prices and fresh food items they have come to expect.
