Fusion Marketing Welcomes Neil Merritt as Director of Sales and Business Development
LOS ANGELES, CA – Produce sales and marketing specialist Neil Merritt is joining Fusion Marketing as its new Director of Sales and Business Development.

Prior to joining Fusion, Merritt has held a number of key executive roles at companies including Dole Foods, Unilever Foods North America, Ready Pac, and HMR Foods, according to a press release.
Some of his accomplishments include expanding distribution and performance at retailers such as Kroger, Ahold, Loblaws, Albertsons, and Walmart as Dole’s Senior Category Manager of National Accounts. And during his time as Ready Pac’s Vice President of National Accounts, he was responsible for over $85 million in retail produce sales.

Merritt has also held positions on many industry boards, including United Fresh Produce Association’s Marketing & Merchandising Board; Leadership Alumni Board and Leadership Class Alumni; the Produce Marketing Association’s “40 under 40” Class of 2010 and Fit Career Ambassador; and the Fresh Produce & Floral Council’s Southern California Committee Chair.
Fusion is confident that Merritt’s appointment and expertise in retail trade sales and marketing will provide high-level category management, strategic business planning, and sales growth opportunities for the company’s new and existing produce clients.
