Good Foods Appoints Eric Munoz as First-Ever Chief Human Resources Officer; Kurt Penn Shares
PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI - As our industry continues to take stands and make changes to elevate our members, Good Foods is taking a strategic approach to further equality and talent with a new appointment. The better-for-you provider recently appointed Eric Munoz as its first Chief Human Resources Officer.
“I’m excited to join Good Foods and to lead such a talented group of people,” said Munoz. “Throughout my career, I’ve witnessed the positive impact the food industry can have and can’t wait to serve our community, customers, and—most importantly—our employees in my new role.”
In his newly created role, Munoz will oversee all functions of human resources, talent, and organizational capabilities for the company as part of the executive leadership team. According to a press release, he will work to develop and execute new HR strategies to support the company’s mission, values, and goals; support the continued domestic and international growth of Good Foods into new markets; ensure that corporate values are lived by all team members and exemplified by management; and foster company culture as a pillar of overall company growth and strategy.
Additionally, Munoz brings over 25 years of HR experience, holding key leadership positions at reputable food companies like Kraft Foods, Mondelēz International, and Kellogg.

Munoz also speaks several languages—including English, Spanish, Portuguese, and French—and has a unique background in talent management, leadership development, succession planning, and change management.
