SAN FRANCISCO, CA - On a one-way ride to exponential growth, GrubMarket has announced that it is gathering even further momentum as it has completed the acquisition of Grant J. Hunt Company (Grant Hunt), a well-established produce wholesaler on the West Coast of the U.S. Serving as a sourcing channel for premium fruits and vegetables with relationships with domestic and overseas farms, the acquisition will work to further GrubMarket’s client portfolio and supplier reach.

Grant J. Hunt was founded in 1934, according to a press release, and supplies a wide range of year-round and seasonal products that include apples, pears, cherries, onions, berries, citrus, and potatoes. Through its Oakport Transportation division, the company ships fresh produce to California, Nevada, the Pacific Northwest, and British Columbia, in addition to selected routes throughout the U.S. for specific seasonal items.

GrubMarket has announced it has completed the acquisition of Grant J. Hunt Company (Grant Hunt), a well-established produce wholesaler on the West Coast of the U.S.

Following the acquisition, Grant Hunt will continue to be managed by the company’s current leadership team.

Through the acquisition, Grant Hunt will be able to utilize GrubMarket’s proprietary WholesaleWare software suite, a Software-as-a-service platform that provides food industry suppliers and vendors with financial management, easy-to-use online ordering and sales, precise inventory management, and CRM tools.
