GrubMarket Acquires Best Fresh Produce, Its Fifth Acquisition in Los Angeles
SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Fresh produce is playing a heavy hand in GrubMarket's expansion as of late. The wholesaler recently scooped up its next company, this time acquiring Best Fresh Produce, a highly regarded and well-scaled provider of a wide array of fresh fruits and vegetables, with an established customer base in California, the Midwest, the East Coast, and other major metropolitan areas around the U.S. Best Fresh Produce is also a major supplier of dates nationwide.

Best Fresh Produce was founded in 2007 by Zakaria Trad and Abdul Basset Trad, and is based in Los Angeles, California. As stated in a press release, it partners directly with growers in the region to supply high-grade wholesome produce from seeds to table.
This is GrubMarket's fifth acquisition in the Los Angeles area. The company plans to continue bolstering its strategic presence in the region. Best Fresh Produce will remain based in Los Angeles, and will continue to be managed by its current leadership team.
