Mucci Farms Appoints Ken Paglione as Sales Account Manager; Steve Zaccardi Comments
KINGSVILLE, ON - Mucci Farms’ efforts to strengthen its hold on the fresh produce industry have not gone unnoticed, as the greenhouse grower has made significant changes to its leadership teams to spark further growth. Recently, the company unveiled the appointment of Dan Branson as Senior Director, Business and Product Development, and now it has named esteemed industry veteran Ken Paglione as Sales Account Manager.
“It’s exciting to offer customers a value proposition that emphasizes product and packaging innovation, community relations, expansion into new markets, as well as the local lit culture winter program,” Ken explained. “Not only am I looking forward to growing with Team Mucci and learning from my new teammates, I’m excited about continuing my industry and local volunteer work and mentoring the next generation.”
Paglione joined the Mucci Farms sales team at its head office in Kingsville, Ontario, on August 16, 2021. He brings to the Mucci team over 15 years of experience in the greenhouse sector, according to a press release, and wields a diverse set of skills ranging from marketing, commodity planning, and logistics to sales. Paglione will use his multi-faceted expertise to assist the Mucci sales team as it continues to boost its efforts to increase supply and form new partnerships.
Over the last few years, the supplier has undergone immense expansion, with annual construction of new greenhouses in both Canada and the United States, in addition to constant research and development of new and unconventional items to produce in a greenhouse environment.
“We are in the midst of significant expansion of our acreage and product offerings, so it’s imperative that we identify and onboard high-level talent to help us continue to meet the needs of our current and prospective partners,” said Steve Zaccardi, Senior Director of Sales. “Ken is known throughout the industry as a thought leader, and his experience in different segments and his overall understanding of the produce business will be of great value to our sales team.”
As this greenhouse titan continues to pursue growth in the sector, we here at AndNowUKnow offer our biggest congratulations to Ken Paglione on his new role!
