Mucci Farms Thanks 50K for $50K Supporters
KINGSVILLE, ON – Last August, Mucci Farms announced that CEO Bert Mucci, President Danny Mucci, COO Gianni Mucci, and Key Account Nick Williamson would team up to complete the ultimate challenge for a worthy cause: 50K for $50K.
On Sunday, November 1, Team Mucci ran from Amherstburg to its corporate headquarters in Kingsville in an effort to raise $50,000 for Make-A-Wish® Southwestern Ontario.
After months of preparation and generous donations from the industry, Mucci Farms thanked supporters for helping them beat all expectations. The company doubled its goal and raised more than $100,000 to grant the wishes of children with life threatening medical conditions.
“We are extremely excited to announce we have surpassed our goal of $50,000,” the company stated in a press release. “Because of your generosity, these funds will make a difference in the lives of many children and their families.”
Mucci Farms hosted a celebratory barbeque lunch at its corporate headquarters just as Bert, Danny, Gianni, and Nick crossed the finish line with supporters and company employees congratulating the four men on their achievement.
Thanks to your donations, Mucci Farms can provide families with the support and compassion they truly need and deserve.
Donations can still be made by visiting http://www.makeawishswo.ca/donate. Donors are asked to complete the “My gift is in memory/honour” section of the donation page by selecting “In Honour of” in the dropdown menu and entering “50K for $50K” in the “Honouree Name” field.
Our congrats go out to Team Mucci on their success, as well as the industry for helping them exceed their goal.
