Nature Fresh™ Farms’ Sarah Krzysik and Denny's Kelly Mejia-Cruz Win February 2020 Snack Cover Contest
SACRAMENTO, CA - Though our monthly Snack Cover Contests come and go, our industry’s keen eyes and quick fingers are forever. This was once again proven in our latest round of our Find the Apple Contest, a round that demanded only the fiercest, most resilient produce mongers step forward to prove themselves as industry champs. Though quite a few rained their selfies into our inbox, smiling alongside the February issue’s Rich Dachman, only two contenders were able to win that $100 cash prize.
On the supply-side, that contender turned out to be none other than Sarah Krzysik, Public Relations Coordinator for Nature Fresh™ Farms. As she slid into the top of our inbox in record time—much like a home-run hitter sliding into home base after a neck-breaking knock-out—she nabbed that coveted winner spot in our February round.
Over on the buy-side, it was Kelly Mejia-Cruz, Buyer, Regional Programs for Denny’s, who proved that those representing retail and foodservice operators have a knack for the details—even if it’s just the details on our beloved The Snack Magazine cover.
