Organic Grower Summit Opens Exhibitor Booth Registration; Matt Seeley and Walt Duflock Detail
MONTEREY, CA - The excitement for the return of in-person events across the industry is palpable, and Western Growers (WG) and the Organic Produce Network (OPN) are turning up the anticipation by announcing exhibitor booth registration is open for Organic Grower Summit (OGS) 2022. Taking place November 30–December 1 in Monterey, California, the show will feature two days of insights, education, and networking for organic producers.
“From seed to soil to harvest, our goal is to present the most relevant information on the most important subjects and issues facing organic production,” said Matt Seeley, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Organic Produce Network. “Over the next five months, we’re putting together a program that brings all facets of organic growing and production together under one roof to exchange ideas and information.”
Organized in partnership with WG, OGS 2022 will feature targeted educational sessions on organic production opportunities and challenges from leading experts across the supply chain, a press release stated. There will also be additional keynote presentations from influential speakers focusing on the future of organic farming and how technology is evolving the space.
OGS 2022 will include exhibitors from soil amendment, ag technology, food safety, packaging, and equipment companies who will be given the opportunity to connect with organic field production staff, supply chain managers, pest management advisors, and food safety experts.
“The organic community truly sees the benefit of an event connecting organic growers and farmers with those in the supply and service chain,” commented Walt Duflock, Vice President of Innovation for Western Growers. “The opportunity for Western Growers to highlight the role of ag tech will provide growers expanded education and information that is critical for the future of the organic industry.”
This is OGS’ fifth year, and it is one of the only events specifically designed to bring together organic fresh produce growers and supply chain partners for information, education, and networking. This year, it will be held at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa.
