Pure Flavor® Honored With FMI's Gold Plate Award for "Eat Well Together to Be Well Together" Campaign; Chris Veillon, Tracy Shaw, and Leslie G. Sarasin Comment



LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO, CANADA - Through its creative Eat Well Together to Be Well Together campaign, Pure Flavor® has brought increased consumer awareness to the importance of family meals. Now, the greenhouse grower has gained recognition for this innovative effort, winning a 2022 Gold Plate Award from the FMI Foundation in the Industry Supplier category.

The family-focused campaign was created to highlight the importance of family meals by encouraging meal prep, family interaction, and the consumption of fruits and vegetables, a press release explained. Each week, the brand unveiled new recipes and tips, as well as family meal facts, surveys, giveaways, and partnership interactions. The campaign supports FMI’s National Family Meals Month and is backed by a captivating website.

To bring this campaign to life, Pure Flavor partnered with Healthy Family Project, reaching over 20,000 e-newsletter subscribers and securing 94,000 impressions and 11,000 engagements between their combined social media accounts. As noted in the release, the celebration gained more than 436,000 impressions on social media with over 15,500 surveys completed.
