Vallarta Supermarkets Continues Expansion With Grand Opening in Salinas, California; Lizette Gomez Details
SALINAS, CA - Another expansion play is padding the geographical footprint of Vallarta Supermarkets. After bolstering its presence in Carson, California, earlier this month, the regional chain has announced its expansion into Monterey County. The grocer’s newest store opened its doors this morning, November 15, in Salinas, California.
"We are extremely excited to open our doors in Salinas," said Lizette Gomez, Director of Marketing at Vallarta Supermarkets. "This new location allows us to connect with an even broader range of customers, and we look forward to serving the local community with the same high-quality products and exceptional customer service that Vallarta Supermarkets is known for."
Similar to the company’s most recent store expansion, the new location includes a host of unique features geared toward elevating the consumer shopping experience.
One of the key features of the store is a robust produce department. According to a press release, Vallarta Supermarkets sources the freshest produce from local growers, as well as those across the United States and around the world, including Mexico, Chile, Canada, Peru, Guatemala, New Zealand, and more. Consumers can find Latino favorites like mamey, chayote, mango tierno, and seasonal favorites at every location.
Each store is also equipped with a juice bar, where customers can order fresh-pressed fruit and vegetable juices; various aguas frescas are also available in many flavors, like horchata, pineapple, papaya, mamey, and jamaica.
