Allen Lund Company's Bob Rose and Nora Trueblood Discuss Foodservice Conference
LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - With the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) Foodservice Conference coming up on July 28, our industry is raring to showcase all they have to offer for the foodservice sector. One such provider is Allen Lund Company (ALC). Bob Rose, Vice President of National Sales, and Nora Trueblood, Marketing and Communications Director, were just as eager as I was to dive into how the transportation titan’s suite of offerings will be a critical asset for everyone along the supply chain.
“ALC is getting bigger, not just in growth, but as a company as well. We recently became a billion-dollar company, and with that growth, we will continue to put our customers first,” Bob explained. “At the event, we want to remind attendees that we remain a family-owned business, but we are expanding to meet the needs of all our customers.”
Throughout this immense growth, ALC has remained humble to its roots but hungry to reach new heights. Bob further noted that the company’s goals remain to support customers with the highest amount of transportation knowledge, whether for buyers or foodservice operators.
“At the Foodservice Conference, Allen Lund Company will showcase our commitment to hauling produce and other food items across the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, we will be showcasing our AlchemyTMS product, designed specifically with the produce and perishable industries in mind,” Bob stated. “We continue to treat our customers like family!”
With consumers continuing to venture out to restaurant establishments, eating-out possibilities continue to grow, making the services ALC provides vital to keeping produce fresher and opportunities more dynamic.
“We work with many of the great companies heading to the Foodservice Conference,” Bob added. “Once their product is loaded onto the trucks until their final and safe delivery, we are there every step of the way. We are at our core a company that was built on doing all the little things right and then delivering on that promise.”
Having face-to-face interactions is a core concept in our industry, and maintaining that trust is critical to a good relationship. With events like IFPA’s Foodservice Conference coming around the corner, now is the perfect opportunity to bump elbows and catch up with friends across the industry—both current and new.
“Our goal is to meet our current shipper/grower customers and make sure we understand their needs as changes often occur,” Nora continued. “Of course, we would also like to expand our relationships with other vendors that we are not currently doing business with and see if we are a good fit for them. We love the energy and atmosphere these trade shows provide, and we can’t wait to see everyone again.”
