Arable Capital Partners Teams Up With BlazerWilkinsonGee in New Partnership; Greg Richards, Derek Yurosek, John Wilkinson, and David Sullivan Comment
SALINAS, CA - Nothing says collaboration like three industry forces coming together to form a new partnership. Industry investor Arable Capital Partners has entered a partnership with BlazerWilkinsonGee (BWG) alongside Arable Partner David Sullivan, who is the Co-Founder of Pacific Trellis Fruit.
“With this transaction, we are getting great partners in a top-notch strawberry operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to be part of the growing berry category,” said Greg Richards, Founder and Managing Director of Arable, commenting on the excitement behind this new and strategic partnership.
After previous partnerships in Pacific Trellis Fruit and Royal Ridge Fruits, this deal further expands Arable’s footprint in vertically integrated premium fruit operations, a press release explained.
Derek Yurosek, Managing Director of Arable, also commented on the news.
“As a leader of a top produce category with an impressive and diversified customer base, BWG has a strong platform on which to expand,” he said. “We look forward to working with the entire BWG team to continue to drive growth and deliver outstanding products and service to customers.”
BWG is a grower, packer, and shipper of premium strawberries, with headquarters in Salinas, California, and strawberry farms in California, Florida, and Mexico. The supplier is represented by its Foxy brand, with volumes available nationwide in a variety of packaging configurations.
“BWG sought aggressive agriculture partners to share our vision for future growth. Arable has a good mix of operational, partnership and investing experience in the agriculture sector. They were able to provide a structured deal which worked well for the families involved,” explained BWG Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, John Wilkinson.
In the press release, Sullivan made his own comment about the partnership.
