Associated Food Stores Appoints Todd Jensen as Vice President of Fresh Foods; Roger White Comments
SALT LAKE CITY, UT - Backed by over 17 years of extensive grocery retail expertise, Todd Jensen is taking on the role of Vice President of Fresh Foods at Associated Foods Stores (AFS). Jensen holds a wealth of knowledge, a passion for growth, and a deep understanding of the local food landscape, all of which he will use to boost the company’s development starting at the beginning of February.
Jensen’s career in the grocery industry began at Harmons, where he started in the produce department, a release relayed. His commitment and dedication led him through various roles, from Grocery Manager to Assistant of Store Development. He continued to advance to positions such as Store Director and eventually Vice President of Sales.
In his new role, Jensen will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic perishable department plans for AFS’ member-owned and corporate-owned retail grocery stores across nine western states.
He will directly oversee activities related to selection, distribution, merchandising, operations, and profitability for the bakery, delicatessen, meat, and produce departments.
He succeeds Bill Price, who passed away in October of 2023.
