Braga Fresh Prepares to Debut Revamped Baby Leaf Containers at Organic Produce Summit; Kori Tuggle Details
SOLEDAD, CA - Changing up one’s appearances is key to keeping things fresh, and our industry is all about that lifestyle. With the 2022 Organic Produce Summit (OPS) coming just around the bend, Braga Fresh is letting everyone know that it too is undergoing a makeover. The company will debut a revamped Josie’s Organics Baby Leaf container featuring a new graphic design and less plastic.
“This year, it’s all about the packaging as our customers and consumers have requested,” said Kori Tuggle, Vice President of Marketing and Product Development. “We’ll be showcasing our 1 lb baby leaf containers that now have a 23 percent plastic reduction, are 100 percent recyclable (including the labels), and an updated design.”
Color me intrigued! The grower, who is also a sponsor of the event, will be showcasing its new container at booth #301 at the Summit’s exhibition on July 14. According to the release, the container is also available to Braga Fresh’s private label partners.
Not only that, but Braga Fresh will be hosting a field tour on July 13 at the Braga Home ranch. The tour will travel through the Salinas Valley to the home of Josie’s Organics in Soledad, California, where attendees will rotate through short learning stations that cover topics such as regenerative farming, laser weeding, pollinators, and good bugs and bees. There is also an invitation-only reception later that evening.
On July 14, Braga Fresh will also be participating in an educational session. Eric Morgan, Vice President of Environmental Science and Resources, will participate in the “Regenerative Ag 101: Regenerative the New Organic” session.
We can’t wait to see the industry once more in Monterey, California, so be sure to wave a hello to us!
