California Fresh Fruit Association Welcomes Courtney Razor as New Director of Member Services and Communications
FRESNO, CA - Courtney Razor is a fierce advocate for the California agriculture industry. Her dedication to organizations in the Fresno area has earned her a position as Director of Member Services and Communications at the California Fresh Fruit Association (CFFA). With a reputation as a produce powerhouse, CFFA is thrilled to welcome Razor to the team.
“I have had the pleasure of working with Courtney for a number of years in her role with the Fresno County Farm Bureau, and I have always found her to be an articulate and vocal advocate for California agriculture,” stated President Ian LeMay. “We believe she is a natural fit, along with our current staff, to continue to bring value to our members and to serve the California fresh fruit industry.”
Razor's father is third-generation fruit farmer Craig Sorensen, so there’s no wonder why she invests herself so deeply in the cause. Before CFFA gained Razor, she was dedicated to her role as Chief Operations Officer for the Fresno County Farm Bureau. There she managed the Future Advocates for Agriculture Concerned About Tomorrow (FAACT) program for over six years.
“We are very pleased that Courtney has agreed to become a part of the team at CFFA,” added Chairman of the Board Randy Giumarra of Giumarra Vineyards Corp, in a press release. “Her personal background and education, as well as her extensive experience working for a peer agricultural association, should translate into real value for our membership.”
