Chelan Fresh's Kevin Stennes Talks Organic Offerings, New Brand, and More in Exclusive Video
MONTEREY, CA - No matter how you slice it, shoppers can’t get enough of apples. As many consumers opt for organic offerings, Chelan Fresh is keeping retailers prepared with its organic lineup of apple varieties that will help increase sales year-round.
“The main thing that we’re really proud of is the organic SugarBee® Apple, one of the best apples, we think, out on the market. It’s really taken the world by storm,” said Kevin Stennes, Organic Sales Manager at Chelan Fresh. “We’re also featuring our organic Rockit™ Apples that is an exclusive to our company.”
On top of SugarBee and Rockit, Chelan Fresh also offers popular varieties like Cosmic Crisp. Several of these are carried almost year-round, including Rockit, which the grower is lengthening the season to increase availability to approximately 10–11 months.
To grab attention in the produce department, the supplier has also launched its new Joyfully Grown™ branding, showcasing its commitment to quality and the growers that produce its range of flavorful fruit.
“Joyfully Grown, we’re really promoting now,” added Kevin. “It’s our new brand that we just started in the last year, and we’re super excited to get this new branding out on the market.”
