CMI Orchards' Rochelle Bohm Discusses New Items and Programs Ahead of International Fresh Produce Association's Global Produce & Floral Show
WENATCHEE, WA - Mix a little bit of the new with a bit of the classic, and boom, you have CMI Orchards’ showcase for the upcoming International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) Global Produce & Floral Show. After nearly two years away from the event, the supplier is getting ready to knock the socks off attendees, and Rochelle Bohm, Vice President of Marketing, is offering a sneak peek.
“Our booth will feature more new items than ever before!” Rochelle excitedly explains. “After two years without a show, expect to be wowed by some exciting programs, promotions, and new varieties we’ll have on display.”
Among the new launches that CMI will be highlighting, CMI will be unveiling its latest umbrella program.
“We’re introducing our new umbrella program, Horizon®—exploring tomorrow’s best apple, pear, and cherry varieties,” says Rochelle. “Within this booth section, we’re introducing several exciting new varieties that we will be adding to our manifest.”
The fun doesn’t stop there, however. The grower will also present new sustainable packaging options as part of its award-winning Relax® campaign. Working in the sustainability arena, CMI will show how it communicates earth-friendly benefits and end-of-life handling instructions to shoppers, which has become increasingly important as consumers search for more environmentally friendly products.
Bringing in some of the classic elements of CMI’s existing programs, the company will have its Flavogram® campaign on display at the show.
“One of our biggest draws will be our award-winning Flavogram campaign,” Rochelle adds. “At the event, we’ll show retailers how to create an exciting in-store setup using our custom tools. We’ve been waiting a long time to shout about Flavogram at IFPA, and we’re ready to add some color and excitement to the show with our eye-catching, bright, and fun retail merchandising ideas!”
CMI will also be spotlighting its grapes, which will be added to the supplier’s American Dream® lineup beside apples, pears, and cherries. As if the variety of the patriotic program wasn’t enough to entice retailers, it also incorporates a kick-back component, supporting military and veteran causes to show gratitude and support for soldiers.
