The Colombia Avocado Board Announces Election of New Officers; William Watson Comments



ORLANDO, FL - Seismic shifts are taking place over at the Colombia Avocado Board (CAB) as of late. This September, four new officers were named to the Board of Directors, each bringing a unique perspective to their collective cause. These officers will serve a two-year term, from 2021 through 2023.

Pedro Aguilar of Westfalia Colombia has been appointed as the Board's Chairman, and Ricardo Uribe of Cartama will serve as Vice Chairman. Serving as Secretary is Jorge Restrepo of Corpohass, and serving as Treasurer will be Kellen Newhouse of West Pak Avocado, stated a press release.

The newly elected officers will join forces with other members of the CAB, providing instrumental insight to help cultivate new consumers of Colombian avocados in the United States.
