KEENE, NH - The Green Path Forward. Though simple in concept, C&S Wholesale Grocers’ roadmap to sustainability encompasses many different operational areas. Aiming to continue enriching the lives of families, friends, and neighbors, the company formalized The Green Path Forward in 2020.

“This year, we made many strides in our strategic sustainability goals contained within C&S’ The Green Path Forward,” said Bob Palmer, Chief Executive Officer. “I am very proud of the work that the C&S team does every day. Not only do we feed our communities, but we also operate in a way that ensures our planet is healthy for generations to come.”

C&S Wholesale’s sustainability plan details all its collective efforts into one clear, concise set of objectives that serve as guideposts for daily work in three key focus areas. These include:

• Preserving the environment
• Working to eliminate waste
• Lessening the carbon footprint
