DiMare Fresh Promotes Jerry Campbell to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Julie Anderson to Vice President, Hires Hurley Neer as Vice President of Sales
SACRAMENTO, CA - DiMare Fresh is gearing up to celebrate its 90th anniversary, and the excitement is ramping up in the form of promotions, innovation, and an exciting new hire.
“We have elevated some long-standing members of our management team and additionally, we are bringing in new ideas and experience,” explains Tony DiMare, Executive Vice President.
The company has announced that Jerry Campbell has been promoted to Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He has been with DiMare Fresh since its beginning, and can brag about more than 30 years of experience in produce operations, information technology, food safety, and management. DiMare noted, in a press release, that the company believes this new position better utilizes his skills and will enhance the efficiency of its operations.
Julie Anderson, Dimare’s Controller, has been promoted to Vice President. Julie brings more than fifteen years of accounting experience focused on operations, inventory management, and loss prevention to her new role.
In addition to these promotion, DiMare has hired a new Vice President of Sales, Hurley Neer.
“It feels like I’m coming home, as I grew up only a few miles away from the DiMare farms in Homestead. Mr. DiMare, and the DiMare companies have been industry stewards, and I’m very happy for this chance to work with the leadership team as we continue that legacy,” shares Hurley Neer.
With more than 27 years of produce experience under his belt, the company noted, DiMare is thrilled have Hurley on its team.
“We have a unique value proposition to bring to the industry today, with our family farms, and service centers located across the country, including 2 state-of-the-art facilities in the booming markets of Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth,” Paul DiMare, the President says. “We have the players and facilities to make a difference.”
