SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA - After almost three decades in the Spirit Lake, Iowa, community, Fareway stores has announced exciting plans to relocate its existing store in the city. Through this new construction, a 21,000-square-foot location will be erected, with site work set for early fall and construction planned for spring 2024.

“The Spirit Lake Fareway has served the community with the best in customer service since 1985. We are excited to provide a new store location, which will continue to best serve this thriving and growing community,” said Chief Executive Officer Reynolds W. Cramer. “We want to thank city staff and community leaders for helping make this project possible.”

Fareway’s new Spirit Lake store will provide farm-fresh produce, competitive prices, and high levels of customer service, a release explained.

On top of that, the retailer is boosting the shopping experience with a fresh look and feel, more natural lighting, and an updated interior. Additionally, the location will continue to offer FastLanes, online shopping, and curbside pick-up.
